Your online transfers
Vos virements en ligneWith BNPPARIBAS.NET, you can easily make individual transfers (in France and abroad) or set up standing orders from one account to another and to any other bank account.

The advantages of BNP Paribas

You can carry out these transactions on BNPPARIBAS.NET once you hold an "Online Services" agreement :

  • Create and activate your beneficiaries : you must first provide the beneficiary's full bank details;
  • Transfer money to and from the accounts registered under your service agreement ;
  • Transfer money to external accounts (held with BNP Paribas or other banks in France). All you have to do is add these accounts to your list of beneficiaries.

The total limit on transfers made online (individual and international transfers) is €6,000 per day.
The limit on standing orders is €3,100 per transfer. There is no limit on transfers between your own accounts.
Individual transfers in France

Individual international transfers
Virements unitaires internationauxAn international transfer is a transaction in which the bank, acting on the instruction of an account holder, debits the account-holder's account and credits another account held abroad (at a BNP Paribas subsidiary or another financial institution) by the same account-holder or by a different person.

Deferred transfers
With BNPPARIBAS.NET, you can set up deferred transfers. The maximum deferral period is two months.
A balance check is made on the morning of the requested execution date. If the balance of your account is insufficient, the transfer will not be executed, with no further notice given by the bank.
Deferred transfers are not included in your "Pending transactions".

Standing orders
With standing orders, you can set up regular transfers in advance, which will be executed automatically in line with your instructions.

You can manage your standing orders on BNPPARIBAS.NET, at your branch or with the Customer Relations Centre. A standing order set up at a branch can be changed on BNPPARIBAS.NET and vice-versa.

International standing orders cannot be set up on BNPPARIBAS.NET.

Presentation of the online transfer service

Managing your list of beneficiaries
External transactions carried out via BNPPARIBAS.NET are fully secure.

To validate the addition of one or more transfer beneficiaries on BNPPARIBAS.NET, you must enter a confidential activation code. This activation code is used to validate the registration of your beneficiaries on BNPPARIBAS.NET.

Adding a beneficiary
  • In the "Comptes" (Accounts) section, select "Virements unitaires" (Individual transfers), then click on "Gérer la liste des bénéficiaires” (Manage my list of beneficiaries) in the upper-right hand corner;
  • Complete the required fields then click on the “Validez” (Validate) button or on the “Ajoutez un autre bénéficiaire” (Add another beneficiary) button. You can add up to 10 beneficiaries at a time.

For international transfers :
  • In the "Comptes" (Accounts) section, select "Virements unitaires" (Individual transfers), then click on "Gérer la liste des bénéficiaires internationaux” (Manage my list of international beneficiaries);
  • Click on the “Ajoutez un nouveau bénéficiaire” (Add a new beneficiary) button;
  • Complete the required fields then click on the “Validez” (Validate) button or on the “Ajoutez un autre bénéficiaire” (Add another beneficiary) button. You can add up to 10 beneficiaries at a time.

Note : The 11-character BIC code is mandatory. If your BIC code only has 8 characters, the remaining characters are automatically completed with "XXX".
Receiving the activation code
  • Choose between "réception par SMS" (receive by text message) or "courrier postal" (receive by post). If you choose to receive the code by text message, you must first register your mobile phone number.
  • By text message: you will receive a text message listing the first beneficiary account and an activation code;
  • By post: you will receive a confirmation letter by post listing the bank details of the added beneficiaries and an activation code.

Important note : For security reasons, you must first register your mobile phone number so you can receive your activation code by text message. If you have not yet registered your mobile phone number, you will receive your activation code by post.
To ensure that you receive your activation code, please contact your Adviser to check that BNP Paribas has the correct postal address and, if you choose the text message option, please also check that we have your current mobile phone number.
Activation codes are sent free of charge by text message. If you are abroad, additional fees may be charged by your mobile telephone operator.

Entering the activation code
  • In the "Comptes" (Accounts) section, select "Virements unitaires" (Individual transfers), then click on "Gérer la liste des bénéficiaires” (Manage my list of beneficiaries) in the upper-right hand corner;
  • Select the beneficiary, then click on the "Activez" (Activate) button;
  • Enter the activation code and validate. You will then be able to complete your transfers.

For international transfers :
  • In the "Comptes" (Accounts) section, select "Virements unitaires internationaux" (Individual international transfers), then click on "Gérer la liste des bénéficiaires internationaux” (Manage my list of international beneficiaries);
  • Select the beneficiary, then click on the "Activez" (Activate) button;
  • Enter the activation code and validate. You will then be able to complete your transfers.

Transferring money
Transferring money between your accounts
  • In the “Comptes” (Accounts) section, select “Virements unitaires” (Individual transfers);
  • Select the account you wish to debit and another of your accounts that you wish to credit;
  • Enter the amount, choose the execution date, then click on the "Validez" (Validate) button;
  • Once you have validated the confirmation, you can view the history of your transfer.

Important note :If you want to transfer money from your cheque account, check that you have sufficient available funds in your account (be sure to take any pending transactions into account).
If you want to transfer money to one of your savings accounts (Compte Epargne Logement (home savings account), Livret de Développement Durable (sustainable development passbook savings account) , Compte Epargne (regular savings account), LEP passbook savings account, Livret Jeune (young person's passbook savings account), remember that each of these accounts has a limit that cannot be exceeded.
If you want to transfer money from one of your savings accounts (home savings account, sustainable development passbook savings account, regular savings account, LEP passbook savings account, young person's passbook savings account), remember that each of these accounts has a mandatory minimum credit balance.
In the interest of the protection of minors, you cannot transfer money from a child's account on BNPPARIBAS.NET.

Transferring money to a third-party account
  • In the “Comptes” (Accounts) section, select “Virements unitaires” (Individual transfers);
  • Select the account you wish to debit and the third party account that you wish to credit;
  • Enter the amount, choose the execution date, then click on the "Validez" (Validate) button;
  • Once you have validated the confirmation, you can view the history of your transfer.

For international transfers :
For some countries, you must indicate if you want to transfer funds in Euros or in other currencies (in this case, an optional foreign exchange fee may apply). Next, you must indicate if you accept to pay the cost of the transfer (optional fee). You will also be charged the transfer issuance fee, which varies by country.


Viewing the history of individual transfers
You can review information concerning your transfers for 60 days, after which your transfer will no longer be displayed.
You can cancel a deferred transfer up to the day before its execution date.

Standing orders
Adding a beneficiary
  • Log in to access the secure “Comptes” (Accounts) area and click on “Virements permanents” (Standing orders) in the left-hand column;
  • Next, click on the “Créer un virement permanent” (Set up a standing order) button;
  • Select the account you want to debit, then indicate if the transfer will be made to one of your own accounts or to one of your beneficiary accounts;
  • Enter the details of the transfer (amount, frequency, next transfer date and, where applicable, the date of the last transfer and reason).

You can review the transaction details and confirm them in the recap screen. An acknowledgement screen confirms that your request has been taken into account. A confirmation letter will also be sent to your postal address.

Modifying or viewing standing orders
  • Log in to access the secure “Comptes” (Accounts) area and click on “Virements permanents” (Standing orders) in the left-hand column;
  • Modify or delete your previous entries. In all cases, a confirmation letter will be sent to your postal address.
